As President of Lafleche Environmental Inc., Brian is responsible to provide the leadership, sound business and project management principles in all business operations. He is also has responsibility for the company's long-term planning and strategic direction for all aspects of the company, including building upon the excellent community involvement and relations.
Brian is a Professional Engineer - Manitoba and Ontario, and also a Project Management Professional. Prior to becoming President in January 2008, Brian was the President of Millennium 3 Inc. a consulting and training company - PMI R.E.P. a Global Registered Educational Provider and Project Manager. Prior to starting Millennium 3 Inc. in 1994, he was a Senior Officer - Lieutenant Colonel with 23 years of service as a Construction Engineer in the Canadian Air Force. He was awarded the Government of Canada 125th year medal for outstanding service and leadership.
Brian is married to Sylvie and has two children Lorraine and Lisa. He is a Christian and a very supportive and committed individual with his church and numerous volunteer and non-profit organizations serving on numerous Boards and Associations.
By being part of the Transforce group of Companies, and working closely with various communities, Lafleche has the expertise and proven ability to plan, and execute strategic and tactical projects including new initiatives to provide Ontario with cost efficient and state of the art solutions to address their environmental needs – “One Stop Solutions for Ontario”.
Brian is a value, principal based leader that holds himself and the Lafleche team accountable to turn the Lafleche vision into reality.
Don MacDonell
Operations Manager

Don MacDonnell is a Certified Landfill Manager and Transfer Station Manager, with certification granted by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA). He is also a Certified Drainage Contractor under the Ontario Drainage Act.
Don has 18 years of experience in the drainage and heavy construction fields. Starting with equipment operation, then moving on to planning, design and supervision of major construction works, he is intimately acquainted with every aspect of both industries. At Lafleche, Don is responsible for the supervision of all operations - which range from landfilling to construction of landfill cells and from landfill gas collection to monitoring the wastewater treatment facilities. He also coordinates staff training for health, safety and environmental compliance.
Don's dedication, knowledge and interpersonal skills help create a family atmosphere among the employees at Lafleche. "It's the people who work here that make what we do possible," he says. "Ensuring their health and well-being is an essential step to ensuring the health and well-being of the wider world, and of future generations."
Dale Phippen, CET.
Environmental Compliance Officer

Dale is an Honours graduate of Seneca College’s Resources Engineering Technology program and Seneca’s Underwater Skills (Commercial Diving) program. Dale has worked in the environmental field for more than 25 years, primarily for a privately-owned Consulting Engineering firm. Dale has significant experience in the assessment of groundwater and surfacewater impacts at rural landfills, the beneficial use of biosolids, Designated Substance surveys, air quality monitoring for mould and asbestos, and the preparation of applications for Certificates of Approval.
As Environmental Compliance Officer, Dale’s responsibilities include site-wide environmental compliance and day-to-day networking with the Ministry of the Environment’s offices in Cornwall, Kingston and Toronto. In addition to this, Dale sits on the Advisory Committee for St. Lawrence College’s Environmental Technician Program, and is also a member of the Moose Creek Watershed Committee at South Nation Conservation. Dale was recognized in 2010 for his 25-year membership in the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), and has recently accepted the position of Director on OACETT’s Cornwall Chapter Executive.
Dale and his wife Susan reside in Cornwall and have three sons. Dale runs to stay fit, plays lead or second at the Cornwall Curling Club, and volunteers on-deck time to the Cornwall Sea Lions.
Tasha Rozon, B.A.
Engineering and Operations Support

Tasha Rozon is a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa. Tasha was employed at Lafleche in early 2004 as a part-time student. Her continued dedication to the advancement of the Lafleche vision has enabled her to obtain a full-time position. Tasha’s daily activities include the management of the Computer Aided Earthmoving System, ongoing health and safety policy development and assistance with project management. Tasha plays a key role in promoting Health and Safety in the workplace and ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and is a certified First Aider and WHMIS trainer. She sits as the Certified Management Representative on the Lafleche Joint Health and Safety Committee.
Tasha is married to Philippe and resides in the local community and is a proud ambassador of Lafleche.
